  • On vous dit tout sur l'exfoliation
  • We tell you everything about exfoliation

    Very gentle.
Offering you products that stick to your skin is great. Educating you on their uses is even better. Today, we're shedding light on a little-known but no less essential topic: exfoliation. Breathe in, exfoliate!

    For what ?

On average, the cells of the epidermis (= the top layer of the skin) regenerate every 2 weeks. These dead skin cells accumulate on the surface of the skin, which dries it out and makes it dull. Exfoliation, also called scrubbing, aims to eliminate these cells at the end of their life to allow the skin to oxygenate and promote natural cell renewal (a rejuvenating cure!). The treatments used are also more effective since they can penetrate deep into fresh cells! Result: the skin is radiant!

    Who ?

The peeling step is essential for all skin types, as explained above. However, you must ensure that you use it at the correct frequency depending on your skin type:

    • 1 to 2 times a week for dry skin
    • 2 times a week for combination skin
    • 3 times a week and more for oily skin

    What ?

There are two types of exfoliants: mechanical and chemical. The former works by friction, that is, by rubbing the skin with gloves, brushes, and peeling agents enriched with micro-granules (beads, sea salts, crushed fruit pits). On the contrary, as its name suggests, chemical exfoliants do not attack the skin since they eliminate dead cells through the chemical action of ingredients such as salicylic acid, retinol, and fruit enzymes.

    When ?

2 to 3 times a week depending on your skin and its needs. The perfect application time is before applying moisturizer and after cleansing/removing makeup, morning or evening.

    Do / Don't

No need to scrub, using force has never worked miracles (quite the opposite), but chemistry, on the other hand, has! Gently exfoliating remains the best advice we can give you. We therefore opt for peels that don't attack the skin, that is, chemical peels.

    Equalizing Foam Peel

Speaking of chemical peels, our number 2 tip is to use the Equalizing Foam Peel . This is made up of enzymes that "swallow" dead cells by attaching themselves to them like the famous Pac Man (you get the reference).
Enriched with essential oils, it gently exfoliates and detoxifies the skin.

    We love:
    • Its grain-free texture is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive
    • Its ability to detoxify in two minutes flat
    • Its formula composed of 5 essential oils which allows the self-regulation of sebum production

    I want it!
